23.07.17 EdTech Jobs of the Week (JOTW)
Just in time for Monday, it's Tenzing's top EdTech jobs of the week
As EdTech recruiters, we’re often asked "What is the best time of the week to apply for a job?" At a high-level, the data suggests that Monday is the golden day. It's the beginning of the week when recruiters, HR professionals, and hiring managers are all revitalized and ready to tackle those resumes and applications that have piled up.
And if we really want to hone in on the exact timeframe, then Sunday evening or early Monday morning is probably the optimal time to hit APPLY. Think about it, get the freshest eyes on your application. Just picture that recruiter with their AM coffee, logging into their applicant tracking system (ATS), and then seeing the morning sunlight reflecting off their screen at just the right angle to illuminate your resume.
But remember, job hunting isn't an exact science. We can't control when a recruiter will actually be reviewing your application, or if the Hungry Judge Effect is in play at the exact moment their scrolling through your resume.
Moreover, the optimal application time also depends on other variables - like when a job is posted. If you stumble upon a job that sparks your interest and aligns with your career goals, the best time to apply is most likely ASYCFOA (as soon as you can focus on applying). Now you know who to blame if you see #ASYCFOA trending on LinkedIn.
So, don't let the intricacies of timing deter you from pursuing opportunities that you’re excited about. As always, every Monday, we at Tenzing are here to spotlight some of the most intriguing and high-impact employers and jobs in the education innovation ecosystem.
& never miss out on what could be the perfect next step for your career path.
